Charles brings more than 12 years of progressive and diverse HR experience and expertise to the Close HR team. His solid background of HR leadership in both small and large organizations has provided him the ability to contribute top-notch HR support and small business operational experience on behalf of Close HR clients.

Charles’ accomplishments include Certification in Safety Management (CSM) as well as in Professional in Human Resources (PHR). He is an active member in both the North Carolina SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) and the Raleigh-Metro SHRM where he is also a Small Business Think Tank Member.

Charles resides in Mebane with his wife of 18 years, Glenda, and two sons, Samuel and Andrew, and daughter, Sarah. Charles is also quite the vocalist and in fact, once auditioned for American Idol in NYC.
