About Us

Ann Close, PHR/CP

President/Owner

Ann is the Founder, Managing Member, and Senior Human Resources Coach/Consultant for Close HR. With over 20 years experience as an HR Generalist, Ann has worked with companies and non-profits of all sizes and in a variety of industries. Her reputation is one of integrity, high trust, tremendous HR knowledge, and exceptional responsiveness. She has a strong commitment to faith, family, serving others, and being a strong advocate for entrepreneurship and small businesses.

Ann is PHR/CP certified (Professional Human Resources/Certified Professional) and is a member of both the National Chapter of SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management) and the local SHRM chapter, RWHRMA (Raleigh/Wake Human Resources Management Association).

Her commitment to the community is further strengthened by the many community volunteer projects and positions she accepts, as well as the community organizations she belongs to. She is also an active active member and participant in several Chambers of Commerce in the Triangle area. In addition, she is a frequent speaker and presenter on HR subject matter for community and client-based events.

Outside of work, Ann’s favorite activity is watching a great game of college football, basketball, baseball, and pro football. And just as every sports team needs a solid game plan to have any chance of winning, Ann knows every business needs a strong HR Game Plan to achieve business success.
